More on that trip

Lily send me an email asking what treasures did I bring back from the orient. I have to say that besides lagging that thermal pot (that I have yet to use) all the way across the world, the treasures were all consumed when I was there. Here are a few pictures from the trip.My daily stop at Bakerzin for my favorite macaroons. I had a different flavor everyday...Satay at Lau Bak Siak where all the satay vendors hang out in the evenings. Thanks Anne for driving us there!Chili Crab and Black Pepper Crab at Red House Seafood Restaurant. This is the after picture (oops!)I squeezed in a class on chocolate candy with Gina of KC and it was fun! Very informative, especially on the types of chocolate candy that's available in Singapore. I will have to resort to Wilton's candy to practice over here. Her little helper was a true delight! This is what I made at the class while it was pouring rain outside. Good thing she was selling molds as I didn't get anything from Phoon Huat on this trip.

Also met up with some of the wonderful ladies from Imperial Kitchen for a delightful lunch! But I'll respect their privacy and not post their lovely faces here. :)

After seeing your crazy schedule and food fest, it was a good thing that you still have time for me while I was there too!
Loved that makan session we had at Seah Street, but too bad we were too busy eating and chatting and forgot our cameras. Love ya!

Sounds like a busy trip back to S'pore. Me too! Had a packed schedule this time and I did not even have time to take any food pix ! All were gone and eaten before I thought of the camera :P
