Almond Puff Sticks

The kids had their valentine shirts over their turtle-necks today, and I made them a valentine morning snack of almond puff sticks using puff pastry, sugar and slivered almonds.
The puff pastry was sliced with a pizza roller with ease, baked for a couple of minutes, and cooled to room temperature.
Hubs enjoyed a bunch of them too before he headed out to work this morning, so these almond puff sticks went fast. And I'm glad to report that I'm catching up on blogging as this is my forth and last post for today!

Wow, done in the morning? You are so hardworking! My friend is also a fan of puff pastry because you can turn out so many things with that. Her kids are more into savoury so she makes cheesesticks with puff pastry.

Hi,

I made a copycat version of a local bakery's version of it. Quite similiar. I named it almond puff fingers. After searching on internet, actually, this is quite a popular bakery item in Hong Kong.

Do drop by www.wendyinkk.blogspot.com to have a look at my copycat version.

Hi Cindy,
Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner as I'm out of town. The recipe is very simple as I used ready-made puff pastry, sprinkled with sugar and sliced almonds. Use a pizza cutter and cut about 1"x6" and baked according. Enjoy!
